Children of the Nations
::  Each month Sylvan Way collects clothing, toys, school supplies and bedding for children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Uganda and the Dominican Republic. www.cotni.org/


DD Fun Day
::  Each quarter Sylvan Way hosts a county-wide event especially for the developmentally disabled adults in our community. The afternoon includes food, gym-time, special music, prayer request time, karaoke and crafts. The fun and good fellowship is always free! DD Day events are located in the Youth Lodge. For more information call the Church Office. 


Harvest Carnival
::  The last Wednesday night of October is set aside for a costumed children’s carnival in Wischhoefer Gym from 6:30-7:30. This event is sponsored by AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, 2 Tim 2:15) for all church and neighborhood children to come and have fun. No scary costumes please!  


Angel Breakfast
::  Children and their parents are invited to celebrate the birth of Jesus at SWBC’s annual Angel Breakfast, the second Saturday in December, from 9:30-11:30 in the Wischhoefer Gym. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to make Christmas presents for their parents, enjoy a continental breakfast, get family photos taken in angel or shepherd costumes and hear about the love of Jesus. This event, the crafts, and the photos are free of charge.
