H.O.P.E.S.

H.O.P.E.S (Helping Others Practice Effective Stewardship) is an extension of our Benevolent ministry here at Sylvan Way Baptist Church.

H.O.P.E.S is designed to help those who are in debt and are struggling to make ends meet.

Clients are referred through the Benevolent Ministry. A referral results in an initial evaluation of an individual's situation to determine the actual underlying need.

If the criteria to become a client is met; a possible result is a loan to meet the immediate need; more meetings to reevaluate the ongoing situation; debt counseling, and tools to get out from under debt.

H.O.P.E.S is a minstry that meets clients where they are at: coming alongside of, encouraging, giving hope, and welcoming the individual with integrity and respect.
